LDS Sample Buffer (4X), 10 mL

LDS Sample Buffer (4X) is used for denaturing protein sample prep with Bis-Tris/Tris-Acetate gels. Contains lithium dodecyl sulfate (pH 8.4) maximizing reducing agent activity. Uses Coomassie G250 and Phenol Red as tracking dyes instead of bromophenol blue; Coomassie G250 migrates closer to the ion front, preventing small peptide loss.
Usage: After equilibrating to 25°C, heat 1X diluted samples (reduced/non-reduced) at 70°C for 10 min.
